I’ve had the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Definer for a few weeks now. I’ve been keen to review it, but I wanted to make sure I tested it fairly before doing so. Now, you should know that for the past 2 years I have been utterly obsessed with Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade. And I’m not the only one – it’s literally taken the makeup industry by storm and can be described as a truly game-changing product. I love it because its waterproof, easy to apply and incredibly versatile (read my initial review here).
Anyway, I’d run out completely after a good year and a half (the Dipbow Pomade lasts ages) so I headed to BeautyBay to order myself some more. When I got to the ABH category on the website I realised there had been a new product launched – the Brow Definer. It intrigued me for two reasons: firstly because I hadn’t heard anyone talk about it or review it yet, and secondly because the product was like no other I’d seen before.
I studied the display images, read the description and headed straight over to YouTube to do some research. The more I learned about the product, the more excited I got. Within half an hour it went from a product I never knew new existed to a product I knew I needed, so I ordered it and eagerly waited for it to arrive.
To fill you in on what I now know, the ABH Brow Definer is a pencil-based product. It’s extremely comparable to Brow Wiz (by the same brand) but comes off slightly more intense, something I’m sure was requested by fans. It has an unusual triangular nib that mimics the shape of an eyebrow brush, allowing you to outline the brows as well as fill them in. It has a spooley brush too, which is also like the Brow Wiz one but this time slightly fluffier.
I went for the colour Ebony, as I’ve got natural black hair at the moment and this seemed the best fit, but there are 10 different shades to choose from and I’m pretty confident everyone will be able to find a good match. You can slightly alter the colour of the product too, by applying it lightly and softening with the spooley or using a heavy hand and the finest end of the nib. You can even apply hair-like strokes, or create a faded ombre look. That’s what I love about this product – it’s really versatile, just like the Dipbrow Pomade.
I keep comparing the Brow Definer to the Dipbrow Pomade and the Brow Wiz because the queen of brows (that is Anastasia) seems to have taken the best from both to create something spectacular. It’s like a hybrid of the two, and an awesome one at that!!! I mean, just look at it…
If this product doesn’t define perfection, I honestly don’t know what does.
Anyone who loves any ABH brow product should give this a try.

I use the sleek brow kit and L’Oreal brow plumper…I was using the Maybelline Brow Satin but used it all. Think I might try this next tbh xx
Haven’t tried the L’Oreal brow plumper, might have to give that a go myself! Would deffo recommend this if you want to give something else a try x

My brows are fairly non-existent, so I don’t go too bold. Plus I’m older and have blonde hair and wear glasses. As long as I don’t scare people with my brows, I just call it a day. LOL
LOL well, count your blessings. I have to spend 40000hours a week taming mine, they’re so visible (because they’re dark) and long! #thirdworldproblems
Ha Ha! We always want what we don’t have! Mine use to be thicker when I was younger, but they have always been blonde. My mom use to get hers dyed. She was a redhead, and they were dark brown. They looked terrible! She always looked like she just got goosed! IE Surprised, I’m old school, or just old. LOL
Haha, that is true! The grass is always greener, as they say… I love auburn eye brows with red hair as dark brown can sometimes be too strong. Ah, you’re only as old as you feel my darling 😉
