Hello, I’m Marie. Well actually, I’m not – my birthname is Mary. I like to confuse people 🙂

Make Me Up Marie was created in 2014 as an open diary that others can enjoy. Initially, I simply wanted to showcase my writing skills, keep log of the things I do and like and join a community of people who share similar passions in life.

Make Me Up Marie has since gained a readership that has a strong focus on budget beauty alternatives and highstreet fashion, and as a result has become a place where beauty fanatics, fashionistas and other likeminded consumers can receive unbiased, informative products reviews, style advice and self-help tips.

I love that I get to help, guide, entertain and inspire people on a daily basis, and hope that, as my support network grows, you can see that the quality of my blog grows too!
